As a student of Sam's at the Glasshouse Therapy Center I found the experience both enjoyable and informative. The setting is beautifully layed out and I found it relaxing but demanding at the same time. The delivery of material is done in a friendly but professional manner. All work is outlined very clearly and I felt confident in what I was learning and how I was being taught.
The facility itself is lovely and the standard of equipment is high. This in itself encourages the student to maintain as high a standard as possible in both practical and theory.

I had wanted to study reflexology for years but struggled to find a suitable course or environment in which to do this. I was introduced to The Glasshouse Therapy Centre by a well known International product house company who recommended Sam and her services to me. Sam invited me to the school for a showround on a Sunday and I instantly knew it was the right environment for me to pursue my studies.
Due to my busy work schedule I undertook an extremely intense training programme. I received fantastic and thorough one on one training by both Ruth and Sam which was given in a professional but relaxed and welcoming environment.

I undertook the Swedish Body Massage Course at the Glasshouse Therapy centre under the instruction of Samantha Pugh which commenced in March this year. The course was perfectly tailored to fit in with my personal and professional life and the main part of the course took place doing a week’s annual leave.
It was one of my best weeks off work to have so many massages performed on me each day was such a treat!
I really enjoyed all the anatomy revision and learning all the massage techniques and I benefited very much from the one to two style training and the experience this allowed me to quickly gain. I felt fully able to ask questions and develop a reasonable standard to start practicing at home before the exam.
Maybe the hardest part was putting the assignments together as it’s took quite some time to do however I thoroughly enjoyed the theory too.
This course is ideal for anyone self motivated and eager to learn a worthwhile skill.

My friend and I both have professional healthcare backgrounds with full-time careers and would find it difficult to attend a weekly massage course at a college, so we were delighted when we found Samantha Pugh of the Glasshouse Therapy Centre. Sam was able to tailor a course around our availability - we took a week's annual leave in March and embarked upon the VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage and the Level 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards.
I found the training by both Sam and her colleague, Ruth Smith, to be well-structured and professionally administered with plenty of support in our 2 to 1 learning situation. I found the course mentally stimulating but also great fun and very relaxing (we were models for each other as we learned the techniques). Sam was very meticulous in ensuring we reached the appropriate industry standards.
A fair amount of self-motivated home study and practical experience of massage was required to complete our portfolios prior to our final assessment day two months later, but Sam provided back-up support as needed.
I would have no hesitation in recommending bespoke training at the Glasshouse Therapy Centre, and I fully intend to undertake further training there myself.
